I came across this video and got such a kick out of it that I decided to share it with my students. The video is of Brazilian pianist Eliane Rodrigues dealing with a mechanical problem during a concert. Rather than getting upset, she demonstrates how to recover and still entertain the audience with dignity, humor and grace. Bravo Ms. Rodrigues! That has to be a first. Obviously the audience loved a once in a lifetime treat! By the way, the problem she said was the pedal was actually a bass damper not seating completely. I hope you enjoy the video!
